I am a professor and young scholar studying and teaching the Old Testament in a confessional context. I have been teaching at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2006. If you would like to know more about my career, you can look up my faculty page.
This blog is a public space where I make comments regarding the Old Testament, theology, literature, and other items of interest. I have summarized my motivation for beginning this blog with the first post. I hope that the personality of the blog reflects my own: I take serious things seriously, but I don’t take myself seriously.
